Marc Compton is a Managing Director and the Market Executive for Bank of America Private Bank for the Silicon Valley and the East Bay areas. He joined Bank of America in 2004 and has served in multiple leadership roles: Regional Executive for the Premier Banking and Investments group, Market Director for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, and Market Director for Banc of America Investment Services, Inc.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Marc worked for Morgan Stanley as a Market Director and Financial Advisor for 10 years. He began in the investment business with Sun America Securities in 1992. In addition to the investment industry, Marc has worked for both LTV Aerospace and Recognition Equipment. Over this decade he served as a Management Consultant, Information Technology Project Manager, Software Consultant, Software Developer and speechwriter for a CEO. Marc holds a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in finance and marketing, and a Bachelor of Science in engineering physics from Oklahoma Christian College.

Marc currently has two board associations: Trustee for his alma mater, Oklahoma Christian in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and an emeritus member for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, Oregon.
