Alexander Sanford is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer with Bank of America Private Bank in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Serving as an integral part of clients’ relationship team, he welcomes the opportunity to help successful wealth creators and multiple generations of families address their distinctive priorities with sensitivity and professionalism. Drawing on his years as a practicing attorney, Alex has developed a thought ful understanding of federal tax, trust, and probate law, with an emphasis on Pennsylvania trust law. He is responsible for providing fiduciary oversight and the administration of personal trust and investment accounts. An integral part of his approach is his ability to distill complex information and educate clients to make informed decisions about the direction of their trusts and investment management accounts. Alex began his career in 2007 as an associate attorney responsible for drafting wealth and estate planning documents in the private client services group with Cozen O’Connor Law Firm and WolfBlock LLP, in Philadelphia. In 2012 he became a trust officer with U.S. Trust in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Alex’s career also includes tenure as a wealth advisory relationship manager with Glenmede Trust Company in Philadelphia, where he managed, administered, and developed relationships while overseeing trust and investment management accounts for five years. He joined Bank of America as a senior trust officer in 2023. Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Temple University and his juris doctor from The University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a long-time Philadelphia area resident and currently lives in Dresher, Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters. Alex is an enthusiastic bicyclist and guitarist and enjoys board games in his leisure time.
