Christy Kobus is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America Private Bank, in Pittsburgh, PA. Her focus is on the administration of clients’ trusts and carrying out provisions contained in trust documents. Christy recognizes that each trust and each beneficiary is unique, and provides highly personalized service to help carry out the estate plans. She is the main point of contact for clients and their beneficiaries when it comes to matters of trust administration and will engage other Bank of America Private Bank specialists to assist, as appropriate.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2025, Christy worked at PNC Private Bank. While there, she most recently served as Senior Vice President and Fiduciary Market Manager where she managed a large book of complex fiduciary relationships, led a team of trust and fiduciary professionals, and served as Chair of the Administrative Committee for the Pittsburgh Market.
Christy is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in political science. She also graduated from Duquesne University School of Law, where she received her J.D. Christy is a Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA), which is sponsored by the American Bankers Association.
Christy is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and she is deeply engaged in the local community. She is the President of the Confluence Theater of Pittsburgh Ambassadors, a founding member of Friends of the Flock at the National Aviary, and a volunteer for Variety the Children's Charity. She is also a judge for the Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theater. Christy and her family were recipients of the 2019 CLO CLOE Award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the Pittsburgh community.
Outside of her professional and philanthropic commitments, Christy is an avid equestrian, a passable golfer, and enjoys live theater, skeet shooting, reading, and baking.
