David Salit is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. David works closely with individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations to simplify the complexities that significant wealth can entail. He offers the knowledge and insight he has gained from more than three decades of direct experience in investing, finance, wealth structuring and planning.

David has extensive experience addressing the distinctive priorities of business owners, corporate executives, professional athletes, and multi-generational families. Committed to each client’s long-term well-being, he grounds his approach in integrity and transparency, serving as a trusted advisor, a reliable confidante, and a forward-thinking guide for a range of needs. He directs a team of locally-based specialists who work in concert to pursue each client’s wealth-management goals and objectives.  

Prior to his current role, David served as the Rhode Island Market Investment Director and a Portfolio Manager for Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust). Previously, he spent several years in the Corporate Finance division of Fleet Boston Financial. He began his career with KPMG in 1987 after earning his B.B.A. from Georgetown University. He is a CFP® certificant and holds the Certified Public Accountant designation.*

Active in the community, David serves on the boards of the Providence Performing Arts Center and the Corliss Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides social services to adults with developmental and other disabilities. A devoted Hoya, he has served as a member of Georgetown’s Alumni Admissions program for more than two decades. He is a current member of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts and the Rhode Island Society of CPAs.
