Jennifer Murphy, CTFA, is a Vice President and Trust Officer at Bank of America Private Bank with their Providence (Rhode Island) Regional Office. She manages a well-organized book of accounts made of Irrevocable Trusts, as well as Revocable Trusts, Investment Management Accounts and IRAs. She offers a strong focus on deepening relationships and client service, while managing risk. Jennifer holds a deep commitment to her clients and their financial well-being, applying valuable, practical strategies and services. Her career with the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) began in April 2015 as a Trust Administrative Officer in the Providence Regional Office and was promoted to Trust Officer in November, 2018. She successfully attained her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor certificate in August 2019.
Prior to her work at the Bank, she attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in May 2008. Jennifer worked as a Corporate Staff Accountant in Boston, Massachusetts from October 2009 through August 2011 before entering law school. She graduated with a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in May 2014, with a focus on elder law and estate planning, and is currently admitted to the Rhode Island Bar.
Jennifer is devoted to her family and to the community as a whole. She enjoys time at home and outdoors with her husband, daughter, and their family dog, Maxwell. Jennifer is member of the Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island. Also, she a participant in the Rhode Island LEAD for Women employee network and the Private Bank’s Women’s Empowerment Network. This all contributes to her cultivation of long-term relationships with her clients and their families to help guide them through the wealth management and fiduciary processes.
