Neil Farren is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. As Portfolio Manager, Neil is the investment leader of the client relationship and is responsible for evaluating, designing and overseeing all aspects of the portfolio construction. He provides technical and industry acumen in managing complex individual and family client relationships and develops and recommends strategies to achieve clients’ investment goals.
He joined Bank of America in 2005 as Client Manager within Global Wealth and Investment Management. Prior to joining Bank of America, Neil spent 15 years in financial institutions as a credit analyst, lender, and portfolio asset manager. Neil began his career as a Bank Examiner with the U.S. Treasury Department in Boston, Massachusetts.
Neil received a BA in economics from Providence College. He also received an MBA and an MS in accounting from Northeastern University. Neil is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Neil volunteered as a coach for local youth sports programs and served as a mentor at San Miguel School in Providence, Rhode Island.
