Ranni McSally, CFP® is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. Ranni is responsible for connecting high-net-worth individuals and institutions to strategies that can help them pursue their financial goals more efficiently. She has extensive experience addressing the needs of individuals who anticipate significant decision points in their financial lives, such as retirement or divorce, as well as families with complex financial needs. Ranni’s approach combines the attentiveness and focus of the Private Bank with access to the resources and capabilities of the broader enterprise, including traditional, specialty asset, alternative, and capital market investments; trust and estate planning; customized credit and banking offerings; and philanthropic strategies. 

Ranni strives to help clients discern their distinctive financial goals and priorities — both personally and professionally — and advance those aims with clarity and purpose. As the key point of client contact, she orchestrates effective collaboration across a team of in-house specialists, each of whom brings significant insight in a particular wealth discipline. Together, they look to help clients shape the lives and legacies they envision, both now and for future generations.

Ranni has worked at Bank of America since 2011, taking on increasing responsibilities over the course of her career. She obtained her M.B.A. from Johnson & Wales University and her undergraduate degree in business management from Beijing Union University. She also holds a professional certificate in accounting from Boston College.

Ranni is actively involved with the Asian community and volunteers with a number of cultural organizations. She is bilingual in Mandarin and is dedicated to help the local Asian American community. She is the co-chair of the Bank of America Asian Leadership Network (ALN). The organization serves its members, allies, Lines of Businesses, and communities by providing opportunities to grow holistically, partnering with our businesses to provide internal talent, and sharing the full face of Bank of America with clients and the community.

Ranni is also a world traveler with a passion for exploring the planet and bringing new lives into the world. She enjoys art, music, food, architecture and photography. Her life is surrounded by love and laughter with her friends and family.
