Jack Gibbs is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank. He serves as the primary point of contact for client relationships, helping to address the complex financial management needs of ultra high net worth families - often spanning multiple generations and geographies. Jack leads a team of specialists that design and implement financial solutions in the areas of investment management, trust and estate planning services, liquidity-event strategies, customized lending, philanthropic strategy, and family office support.
Jack is particularly passionate about working with current and former business owners, entrepreneurs and c-suite executives. Drawing on expertise within the Private Bank and his experience in commercial banking and corporate finance, Jack serves as a trusted resource as these individuals and their families navigate the business lifecycle.
In addition to working with families, Jack's team supports institutional clientele including family offices, non-profits, and for-profit operating businesses, often partnering across Bank of America to bring commercial banking and capital raising capabilities to these institutional entities.
Prior to joining the Private Bank, Jack was a Middle Market Commercial Relationship Manager with Bank of America, responsible for supporting mid to large closely-held, sponsor owned, and publicly traded operating companies across South Carolina. Before joining the Commercial Bank in 2017, Jack spent time in a number of Finance, Treasury, and Corporate Strategy roles with the Company in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Jack received a B.S.B.A from Appalachian State University, with a major in Finance and Banking. In the community, Jack currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. Jack and his wife Elizabeth have two children and reside on James Island.
