Bringing 26 years of financial services experience, LaTasha Gandy joined Bank of America in 2010. She is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager in Charleston, South Carolina, whose focus lies on expanding client relationships across the enterprise and ensuring the integrated delivery of investment, fiduciary, credit, and banking solutions.
Previously, LaTasha was the Sr. Business Banking Relationship Manager for the Lowcountry market, and her responsibilities included leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. Overall, LaTasha’s mission is to help companies, individual and institutions to thrive by achieving their financial goals, no matter how simple or how complex.
Throughout her banking career, LaTasha has served consumers and small to mid-sized companies throughout South Carolina. She began in residential and commercial mortgage lending with several firms, where LaTasha managed sales teams for seven years before transitioning to retail banking and then business banking at Bank of America.
To help create a more sustainable future for the companies and communities she serves, LaTasha volunteers with several nonprofits focused on promoting financial literacy, ending hunger, homelessness, and domestic violence within South Carolina communities. She is also a mentor for teammates across the bank as a member and leader in the Bank of America Community Volunteers and the South Carolina chapters of three employee networks: Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy & Development (LEAD) for Women, the Military Support and Assistance Group, and the Black Professionals Group.
LaTasha has been a member of the Charleston Market Leadership team since 2016 and graduated from the Leadership Charleston Program through the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2019.
While she was a member of the Business Banking Atlantic South Executive Council, she was the elected ambassador for her team voicing business challenges and future projects to leaders and peers across her line of business. LaTasha also served on the Business Banking ESG Council and is a graduate of the Bank of America Diverse Leader Sponsorship Program.
LaTasha graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina.
Originally from Hartsville, South Carolina, LaTasha is a proud mother of two adult children and resides in Charleston.
