Lindsey Griffin is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Columbia, South Carolina. Born and raised in Columbia, she has a passion for helping address the often complex financial management priorities of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and non-profits in the region.
Leading a team of dedicated specialists with deep experience in asset management, multi-generational wealth transfer strategies, philanthropic giving, and debt financing solutions, Lindsey welcomes the opportunity to connect clients to the extensive global resources of Bank of America. As a key point of contact, she grounds her approach in diligence and consistency and strives to advance each client’s unique objectives with care and precision.
Lindsey joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2019 after a career spent in the non-profit sector. Her roles included working with donors, alumni and friends of the University of South Carolina to identify philanthropic and sponsorship opportunities; serving as a development and constituent relations officer for both the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation and for Presbyterian College; and working with South Carolina’s Council on Competitiveness to support emerging industrial and economic development in the area. She began her career with the South Carolina Department of Commerce’s Small Business Ombudsman and Business Solutions team.
Lindsey earned her B.S. in political science from Presbyterian College. Deeply focused on her community, she has served as an executive committee member of United Way of the Midlands’ Women in Philanthropy and is event chair of its "Power of the Purse" annual fundraiser. In 2022, she was named Young Professional of the Year by Columbia's Chamber of Commerce, and in 2021 she was named 20 Under 40 by The State Newspaper. She serves on the boards for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and South Carolina Philharmonic. She and her husband, Charlie, live in Columbia with their two sons.
