Danielle M. Ward is a Managing Director and Senior Institutional Portfolio Manager within the Institutional Investments group at Bank of America Private Bank.  In this role, she is responsible for the development and execution of clients’ investment objectives, which includes strategic asset allocation, tactical asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction. She focuses on both the short- and long-term needs of endowments, foundations, charitable trusts and pensions, drawing on the broader resources of the Chief Investment Office and Bank of America.

Her experience at Bank of America includes a tenure as Institutional Client Executive where she was responsible for strategic relationship management for the firm’s largest and most complex institutional non-profit clients and as Institutional Market Investment Director where her responsibilities encompassed direct client management and managing a team of institutional portfolio managers. Danielle joined Bank of America in 2003.

Danielle regularly presents educational and training material to non-profit investment committees and boards, including issues on sustainable and mission-aligned investing, investment governance, investment policy statements, spending policy development and risk management.

Danielle earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Connecticut College. She is a CFA® charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment AnalystSM professional, and earned the Chartered SRI Counselor designation, as well as the BoardSource Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting. She is a member of the CFA® Institute, CAIA® Association, CFA® Society Houston and BoardSource. Danielle volunteers with several non-profit organizations and has held and continues to hold board and committee positions.
