James Wiltshire is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank. He works closely with a select group of individuals, families, and private foundations to help manage the financial complexities that come with wealth. His focus is on building investment strategies that are deeply personal and designed around each client’s goals, family priorities, tax landscape, and long-term vision.

James takes pride in being a steady, trusted advisor through all market conditions. Since joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2014, James has been a hands-on partner to the clients he serves, providing regular updates, thoughtful insights, and honest conversations. Before that, he began his career as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor at Northwestern Mutual, where he built a strong foundation in financial planning and client service.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. James holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Outside of work, James stays active with his wife and two boys. Whether it's running, travelling, chasing new adventures, or simply enjoying the little moments, he makes the most of each day with his family.
