Professional Profile

When clients feel confident their wealth is secure, they're free to focus on what matters most: their families, their businesses, their communities, and the future they want to build.

Jason Okrent is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Seattle, Washington. Clients turn to him for sound judgment during pivotal moments.

Much of his work centers on helping successful business owners and families navigate important financial decisions. Clients often find his practice when evaluating a liquidity event, building an investment portfolio, financing real estate, or planning for future generations.

Jason's investment philosophy places a strong emphasis on after-tax outcomes. He and his team believe successful investment management starts with disciplined asset allocation and thoughtful portfolio construction. With that foundation in place, clients can benefit from institutional-caliber research, private market access, custom lending, and specialized tax-aware investment capabilities.

He advises on cash management, concentrated stock positions, trust and estate planning, family governance, wealth transfer strategies, philanthropy, executive compensation, and business succession planning.

Jason's practice provides a broad range of family office services. Working alongside a team of specialists, he helps clients bring clarity and precision to substantial balance sheets through consolidated reporting across public and private assets. Technology-enabled reporting helps clients maintain a comprehensive view of their assets, liabilities, operating businesses, and real estate holdings.

Clients have access to specialized residential, commercial, and custom lending capabilities, as well as investment banking advisory, aircraft and yacht financing, art advisory, sports and entertainment advisory, and specialty asset management.

Jason is passionate about helping nonprofits and foundations advance their missions through strong governance, financial stewardship, and long-term planning. He has worked with a wide range of organizations, including arts and cultural institutions, educational organizations, and grantmaking foundations.

Jason often serves as a central point of coordination among a family's attorneys, accountants, investment bankers, and other trusted advisors. Drawing on deep relationships throughout Seattle and the Eastside's professional communities, he helps bring together the right expertise when evaluating opportunities and navigating consequential decisions.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Jason served as a private banker at Citi and a wealth advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder.

Jason serves on the Board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. He is a past recipient of the Jack J. & Charlotte Spitzer Young Leadership Award, which honors emerging leaders in the Jewish community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their two sons. Together, they enjoy travel, sports, and exploring Seattle's restaurant and café culture.
