Sheila Stinson is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in the Washington, D.C. area. For more than two decades, she has helped high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients create strategies designed to manage their wealth so they can experience more freedom to pursue the lives they envision.

In addition to being an advisor, Sheila operates as a coach, educator, co-pilot and navigator, working in partnership with her clients to support them through the emotional and technical aspects of wealth management. Her goal is to strengthen her clients' confidence in their financial decisions.  She listens to understand her clients' priorities, aspirations, values, passions, fears and concerns, all which lay the foundation for the advice and planning she and her team provide.  

Sheila has spent a total of over twenty years with Bank of America and has been in wealth management for over 25 years in a variety of advisory roles with Bank of America and local boutique multi-family offices.  Sheila, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, earned an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in finance from The George Washington University. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in finance and real estate. She holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation, is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional and holds a coaching certification by the International Coaching Federation.

Sheila is grateful to be able to give back through volunteering and has served on several non-profit boards in her community. Sheila lives in DC with her husband Greg and their two rescue beagles, Willy and Mia.  In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, jogging, and trying her best to remain physically fit and strong so she shows up ready for whatever each day brings.
