Sheila Stinson is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in the Washington, D.C. area.  For more than two decades, she has helped high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients create strategies designed to manage their wealth so they can experience more freedom to pursue the lives they envision. 

Sheila’s clientele includes business owners, entrepreneurs, executives and multi-generational families. She is passionate about working with women, including business owners and entrepreneurs who often have overcome challenges to achieve financial success. She has extensive experience working with people who have acquired sudden wealth through the sale of a company, divorce or inheritance.

Sheila leads a team of specialists who deliver proactive and highly customized services, including investment management and philanthropic strategies, trust and estate planning services, and customized credit and lending solutions. Prior to joining the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2019, Sheila held similar roles with local boutique multi-family offices.  

Sheila, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, earned an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in finance from The George Washington University. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in finance and real estate. She holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional.
