Stefan is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He works with high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners to implement strategies based on a thorough understanding of their personal values, wealth management and wealth transfer goals and their vision for their legacy. Stefan leads a team of specialists in delivering a family office experience to his clients. His team is highly skilled in creating customized plans, including building financial models, and identifying innovative strategies for investment management, wealth transfer, lending and philanthropy for all of his clients as well as succession and exit planning for owners of privately-held companies.

Stefan graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations in 1991, and earned a Master of Arts in foreign affairs at the University of Virginia in 1994, and a Juris Doctorate at the School of Law at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA in 1997. 

Prior to working in the financial services industry, he practiced law for 15 years in New York and Washington, D.C.  Stefan is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and the State of New York, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Estates and Trusts Bar of the District of Columbia and the Estate Planning Council for each of Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County.  He is very active in his community and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Community Foundation of Montgomery County.

Stefan lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two sons.
