Steve Casella is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor, and leads one of the largest relationship teams at Bank of America Private Bank in New York City.  He oversees management and strategic growth of an overall book of business with significant entrusted assets and credit balances. Steve is responsible for deepening relationships with existing ultra-high net worth clients, as well as driving new business development. His clients have complex wealth structuring, investment management, banking and credit needs, and include private business owners, real estate families, corporate executives and financial services executives. Steve leverages his extensive experience to advise clients and develop customized strategies that help build, preserve and manage their wealth. Steve engages internal resources and continually expands his robust external network to deliver complete wealth management guidance and advisory. In addition, he works extensively with some of the firm’s most sophisticated family offices.

Steve’s success is founded on his financial services acumen, as well as his continuous effort to act as a trusted advisor to clients. He understands their complex private wealth needs and develops thoughtful strategies that are designed to fulfill their desired financial goals, while delivering an exceptional client experience. Further, Steve draws upon his advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to solve the most complex challenges.

Previously, Steve worked as a Managing Director at Dominick and Dominick and Senior Portfolio Manager at Ike Capital. He also spent eight years as a Vice President, Private Client Services at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette/Credit Suisse First Boston, and 10 years as Vice President, Private Banking at J.P. Morgan.

Steve holds an M.B.A. in international finance from St. John’s University and has been a mentor to the St. John’s Business School graduates for over 30 years.  Additionally, Steve is a board member of the The Cor Jesu Foundation.
