Steve Mason is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank.  Steve leads a team of experts helping individuals, families, and foundations to preserve and grow their assets in a responsible way that aligns with their mission and goals.  Steve and his team serves his client’s holistic needs in every facet of Private Banking – Credit, Trust and Estate Planning, Tax and Legal Strategy, and Investment Management (including traditional, specialty asset, alternative, and socially innovative investments).  

From his office in Nashville, Steve covers all of Kentucky and Tennessee and spends a great deal of time in both of these amazing states. He is from Kentucky and lives on a small horse farm outside of Franklin, TN and loves working with clients who are in the equine industry, those who invest in horses and those simply have a passion for horses. 

Many in his family are involved in various aspects of music and film production so he also enjoys working with clients in these industries as well.

Steve is a long-time Bank of America teammate and has over 20 years of leadership experience across multiple disciplines, including leadership positions in Consumer and Small Business Banking, Global Tech and Ops, and Global Wealth & Investment Management.

Steve holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business at Belmont University in Nashville, TN and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.

Steve and his wife have three children and all of his outside activities tie back to their family activities and interests. He represents the bank on the board for Junior Achievement of Middle TN and is the past board chair for Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail in Fort Worth, TX. He is also on the board for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC). He has coached youth soccer, baseball, and basketball. He is an active member at his church and has participated in mission trips abroad. He is a member of the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville and of the American Horse Council.
