Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor

Professional Profile

Stratford Kiger is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her career in financial services in 1990 as a traditional branch banker, joining a predecessor of Bank of America in 1994, where she spent 13 years in leadership roles within the investment, marketing, and technology groups supporting various lines of business and enterprise initiatives.  After her children were born, she left Bank of America to go into private practice as the owner and managing attorney of a law firm focused on trusts, estates, elder law, business formation, special needs planning, and professional fiduciary services.

In 2019, Stratford returned to Bank of America to utilize her skills and those of the Private Bank team to assist clients as they build, preserve, enjoy, and distribute their wealth. She recognizes that inter-generational wealth management is both critical and complicated and enjoys working with high caliber teammates to put the right strategies in place for her clients.  Stratford works with a team of Private Bank specialists who collaborate to identify and customize strategies involving tax minimization, wealth planning, credit and banking services, investment management, and fiduciary services. Together, they leverage the depth and breadth of Bank of America’s products and services to help meet the needs of the client.  Her goal is to provide solutions to her clients that allow them to focus on enjoying life rather than managing it.

Stratford earned her BA in Sociology from Salem College in Winston-Salem, her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her JD from the Charlotte School of Law. She is licensed as an attorney in North Carolina and South Carolina and is certified as a Specialist in Elder Law by the North Carolina State Bar.
