Suzanne B. Smith
Senior Vice President, Private Client Manager
Suzanne Smith is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Nashville, Tennessee. Drawing on more than three decades of experience with Bank of America, an integral part of her approach is to understand what’s important to her clients and multiple generations of their families. Suzanne provides access to the extensive resources and capabilities at Bank of America to help them pursue their strategic goals and simplify their complex financial lives.
With a deep background in banking and customized credit and lending, Suzanne takes an integrated view of her clients’ resources to create tailored banking and credit solutions spanning multiple disciplines, including structured and custom credit, and liquidity management services. In her role, she coordinates with a team of specialists across multiple disciplines, including wealth structuring and trust and estate planning services.
Suzanne began her banking career in the executive training program at Bank of America in Dallas, Texas in 1989. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2017, she served in various capacities, including Managing Director in the Corporate Bank in Dallas. In 2007, she relocated to Nashville to assume the role of Senior Credit Products Officer in the Global Commercial Bank, where she managed a portfolio of for-profit healthcare corporate clients. Suzanne earned a B.B.A. in finance and real estate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Suzanne has been actively involved in the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women Leadership committee, a member of the Circle of Red, and a member of the finance and youth group committees for her church. She also volunteers with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and serves as a mentee with Big Brothers-Big Sisters. Suzanne and her husband, Mark, reside in Nashville. They have three children and in their spare time they enjoy traveling and hiking the parks in the greater Nashville area.
