Ted Henderson is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Greenwich, Connecticut. Ted works closely with high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions, tailoring their investment strategies to their wealth-transfer goals, tax circumstances, and overall objectives.* He has extensive experience catering to the needs of Fortune 500 CEOs, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, private equity principals, deferred compensation plans, as well as foundations and endowments. 

Ted selects and leads a team of specialists with in-depth knowledge of investments, trust and estate planning, wealth strategy, philanthropy, family office services, banking and lending. He oversees the design and implementation of customized initiatives, monitoring and adjusting for changes in family situations, life events, governance needs and investment-policy restructuring. A veteran advisor, Ted is skilled in supporting strong stewardship in successive generations, facilitating ongoing financial education and robust communication. He is also adept in balance sheet review, helping clients structure and deploy their wealth more purposefully and efficiently.

Prior to joining the Private Bank in 2014, Ted was a Senior Wealth Strategist with Northern Trust in New York for more than eight years. Previously, he served as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer with Robbins and Henderson LLC, a boutique direct access brokerage firm. His career also included tenures with Merrill and Salomon Brothers, where he consulted to institutional investors. He earned his B.A. from Georgetown University.

Ted serves on the board of The Fishers Island Development Corporation. He is a past president and former board member of The Greenwich Leadership Forum and a former board member of The Fishers Island Recreational Foundation and The Tokeneke Association.

Ted and his wife Wendy have been married for more than 27 years and have three children.
