Ted Sulger is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank, in Chicago. Ted works closely with individuals, families, and institutions, helping them pursue their goals, craft their legacies, and deploy their wealth more effectively. He leads a team of locally based specialists who bring in-depth insight in multiple areas: investment management, trust and estate planning services, family office services, business succession strategies, banking, and philanthropy. As the lead relationship manager, Ted begins his outreach by pinpointing a client’s financial priorities. He then builds a team around each client, integrating the detailed knowledge and hands-on experience of colleagues and teammembers. Together, they design integrated initiatives that capitalize on the extensive range of resources at the firm. A proponent of ongoing dialogue and active collaboration, Ted maintains close contact with each client, staying apprised of evolving objectives. He enjoys developing long-term relationships that attest to his leadership, responsiveness, and dedication. Ted has more than three decades of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, he was a Managing Director with Nomura Securities International, where he was Head of the Chicago Fixed Income Group. At Nomura, he directed customized offerings for institutional clientele, spanning diverse sectors, markets, and instruments. His career also includes tenures with Bank of Montreal, EF Hutton, and Greenwich Associates.

Ted earned his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree in Geology from Colorado College.

A Chicago resident, Ted supports a number of charitable and community organizations in the Chicago area.
