Professional Profile

Timothy Bachli is an Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. Tim works closely with an accomplished clientele, supporting them in discerning their goals and crafting tailored investment portfolios to pursue their aims. He works in concert with the members of his team, designing asset allocations that align with a client’s overall wealth framework, mindful of tax sensitivity, diversification, risk tolerance, time horizons, cash flow, and legacy intentions.

An empathetic listener, Tim appreciates the singular nature of each client’s circumstances and intentions. He caters to that uniqueness, building enduring relationships so that he can provide clients with the one-on-one attention and guidance they deserve. Tim offers extensive knowledge of traditional and alternative investments, including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and hedge funds, as appropriate. Eager to support clients in pursuing their ambitions, Tim points to research from Bank of America’s Chief Investment Office as a bedrock of his approach. He believes the Private Bank provides the scale and market intelligence to navigate the investment landscape with greater poise and insight.

Tim joined Bank of America Private Bank in 2016 and was quickly rewarded with additional responsibilities within Portfolio Management. In 2019, he joined General Dynamics Mission Systems, where he was a Manufacturing Project Lead and Program Performance Analyst. After one year, Tim returned to his roots at Bank of America Private Bank, rejoining the firm as a Portfolio Manager Senior Associate.  He has served in his current capacity as Portfolio Manager since 2022.

Tim earned his B.S. in Finance, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

A resident of Providence’s East Side, Tim enjoys staying active and is an avid sports fan. In his free hours, he likes to play golf and explore greater New England. He often returns home to the Berkshires to spend time with his family.
