Timothy Quinn is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Florham Park, New Jersey. He has spent more than 30 years providing strategic guidance to accomplished women and men including members of non-profit boards and the organizations they support. These clients include active and retired corporate executives, owners of private enterprises, and multiple generations of their families.

Tim is devoted to helping clients preserve and pass along wealth and values to their children and grandchildren. He also shows “the next generation” what it means to accept the mantle of managing family wealth. 

With access to the extensive resources of Bank of America, Tim and his team of selected specialists provide traditional, specialty asset, alternative* and capital market investment strategies, business transition planning, intergenerational and other estate planning strategies, philanthropic guidance, and access to residential, commercial, aviation and marine lending solutions. His team also helps clients with wealth concentrated in specific areas (such as real estate) to diversify assets, manage liquidity and find liquidity opportunities not yet recognized. 

Tim has extensive experience addressing the specialized needs of nonprofit institutions, with an emphasis on endowments, foundations and investment committees. He is one of a select group of advisors holding the ICA (Institutional Client Advisor) title. 

Before joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust), Tim was director of consultant relations with GAMCO Asset Management and director at BlackRock based in London and Zurich. He also spent years at John Hancock Advisers in Boston, ultimately serving as managing director of consultant relations. 

Tim holds a B.S. in finance from Penn State University. He, his wife and two sons are avid sailors out of Mystic, Connecticut who enjoy time on clients’ vessels and their own.
