Ms. Doan is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with over 30 years of experience in private wealth management and leveraged finance. Ms. Doan has extensive experience working with ultra high net worth families, foundations and institutional investors to structure complex credit requirements, advise on fiduciary investment management and structured/hedging solutions as well as consult on philanthropic and estate planning strategies. Ms. Doan currently serves on Bank of America NYC ACTion Advisory Board and as Co-Chair of the External Engagement committee of the Asian Leadership employee network NY Chapter. Prior to joining the Private Bank, she was with JP Morgan Chase’s global syndicated finance group (where she was based in New York and Hong Kong), providing structured credit and derivatives solutions to institutional clients. In this capacity, Ms. Doan worked closely with senior management teams of Fortune 100 companies and private equity funds to structure and distribute bank financings for acquisition, leveraged buy-out, project financing, restructuring and general corporate purposes.

Ms. Doan holds an M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in foreign service and international business from Georgetown University. 

Ms. Doan is a member of the Board of Trustees and serves as Co-Chair of the Advancement Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. She was also a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee of the Museum of Modern Art and the Contemporary Art Council of the Asia Society. In addition, Ms. Doan is a member of the Board of Advisors and previously served as a Director of the International Rescue Committee (the “IRC”). She has served on the IRC’s Nominating and Governance, Executive Search and Program Committees, and was previously the Co-Chair of the Audit Committee. She was recognized by the IRC as a Refugee of Distinction in 2010. In 2011, she was named a special delegate by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (“UNHCR”) and served on its 60th Refugee Congress in Washington, DC. 

Ms. Doan is a member of the 2014-2015 class of David Rockefeller Fellows, a group of senior executives chosen to participate in a year-long business and civic leadership program through the Partnership for New York City. Established in 1989, the David Rockefeller Fellows Program exposes Fellows to key leaders and issues in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors of the city as well as to facilitate effective public-private partnerships. The Partnership for New York City engages CEOs of the city’s 200 largest employers to advance the city economy and maintain its position as the center of world commerce, finance, culture and innovation.
