William Fritz is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Chicago, Illinois. Bill works closely with a select group of high-net-worth clients, helping them pursue sound financial decisions in their personal and professional lives. He works with a team of local, in-house specialists, who collaborate to design and implement tailored strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning, banking and lending, business services, and philanthropy. As the key point of client contact, Bill serves as a conduit to the capabilities and resources that align with client objectives. He has experience advising business owners, attorneys, hedge fund professionals and their family members, as well as nonprofit endowments and foundations.
Bill takes a holistic approach to each client’s situation, examining both sides of the balance sheet to deploy wealth more efficiently. He enjoys helping clients discern and define the purpose of their wealth, leading thoughtful analysis and ongoing discovery. Dedicated to client well-being, Bill looks to anticipate needs, following through with precision and resolve. He recognizes that different life stages entail different priorities and caters to the unique circumstances of each relationship.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust), Bill spent six years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Chicago and New York, where he served as a Private Banker. He began his career in 2008 with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Securities Solutions division, where he served as a Collateralized Loan Trustee. Bill earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University, majoring in Finance and International Business.
Bill is an active volunteer with the Big Shoulders Fund in Chicago, which provides financial support to Catholic schools in the neediest areas of the city, as well as with Navy Pier, having joined their Associate Board. He and his wife and two children live in Chicago.
