Zankhana Bateman

Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor

Professional Profile

Zankhana Bateman is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. She draws on two decades of experience with the bank to unwind complexity and connect clients to the extensive resources and capabilities that can help turn their goals into a reality. As a relationship builder, she has a nuanced understanding of the needs of women, many of whom will take full responsibility for their finances at some point in their lives— as sole earners, as divorcees or as widows.

Her personalized approach takes a broad overview of her clients’ financial lives. Long before Zankhana formulates any specific strategies, she spends considerable time asking questions and listening to their personal and family values and aspirations. To aid her in addressing her clients’ complex situations, she draws not only on her own knowledge, but also on a team of specialists with deep experience in investment management, credit and banking services, and trust and estate planning services.

Zankhana has been with Bank of America since 1999 and joined the Private Bank (formerly U.S Trust) in 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brown University. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Zankhana serves as vice president of the board of the Women’s Fund of Rhode Island. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at her temple and at her children’s school.

*Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® in the U.S.
